Brass fixtures - from plumbing to hardware to lighting, you name it, is making a comeback in a big way. This isn't the shiny, over-polished brass of the 80's and 90's but a much warmer brass that we are seeing making its way back into homes today. The brass I'm loving now tends to have more of an antiqued finish or polished (but not lacquered) finish - allowing it to patina and blend into a lived in home.
